Our near-term emission reduction targets have received from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) tools.
In 2023, we enhanced our climate goals by establishing near-term emission reduction targets for Scopes 1 and 2. Our targets received from SBTi tool from base year 2023. The SBTi is the premier global organization dedicated to defining and promoting best practices in setting greenhouse gas emission reduction targets for businesses. It is a collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World-Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
- We have committed to reducing absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions 42% by 2030 from a base year 2023.
In the process of validating our near-term targets, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) affirmed that our commitments for Scopes 1 and 2 are aligned with a trajectory that supports limiting global warming to 1.5°C—the most rigorous designation within the SBTi framework.
